Position:             Billing   Coordinator

 

Description:  Assist in the overall shared service cross-functional team.  An opportunity to be exposed to all aspects of an office environment including Bid Administration, Vendor /Supplier Management, and Customer Service. This position is responsible for supporting all divisionary Companies to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.

 

 

Responsibilities (May include but not limited to):

 

  • Coordinate and complete Invoicing of Customers and Vendors, Including Demurrage
  • Assist in Receiving and Reviewing orders (verbal, faxed, mailed, electronic)
  • Assist in daily paperwork management- Dispatch paperwork to and from drivers.
  • Assist in Receiving vendor receipts of inventory
  • Assist in maintaining Pricing Records for vendors and customers
  • Coordinate customer debit and credit, including short-pay activity to include proper management approval.
  • Coordination of freight rates and input in adage.
  • Filing key documents in correct and efficient manner
  • Assist in Reporting non-conformances via the Service Report System
  • Assist in Processing customer requests
  • To participate in Team Meetings and projects relating Customer Service and Accounts Payable.
  • Provide assistance in general office administration
  • Work within shift of operation hours of 7:00 AM to 6:00 Will need to be flexible to change in schedule.
  • To continually exceed the expectations of our Customers and Vendors.

Required Education / Training / Equivalent Experience (Prior to hire / transfer):

 

  • Associate Degree or relevant college experience
  • Customer Service experience (1-3 Years) or relevant college experience
  • Logistics background or exposure.
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Organizational skills and Multitask Management
  • Detail Oriented
  • Computer skills to include Access, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to excel in a high paced deadline-oriented environment
  • Problem solving skills
  • Team Player
  • Positive Attitude
