PVS-Nolwood, Inc. Announces Acquisition of SAL Chemical Co., Inc.

Effective February 28, 2025, PVS-Nolwood Chemicals, Inc. (“PVS Nolwood”), a subsidiary of PVS Chemicals, Inc. of Detroit Michigan, has acquired certain business assets of SAL Chemical Co., Inc. (“SAL”) of Weirton, West Virginia. The acquisition of SAL will combine PVS Nolwood’s Great Lakes footprint with SAL’s long-term strength in the Appalachian Basin.

Going forward, under PVS Nolwood ownership, customers, suppliers and vendors can expect the same consistent services that SAL is well known for.  Steve Fenell, acting President will be remaining in a leadership capacity throughout the integration period.
