PVS owns and operates multiple Spent Pickle Liquor (SPL) processing facilities that are strategically located near major steel mills in the US. This facilitates the continuous intake of SPL from the pickling lines and replenishment with fresh Hydrochloric acid, which helps our steel customers to improve their productivity in a safe and sustainable manner. Our onsite bulk storage capabilities, our own fleet of transportation equipment operated by experienced drivers, and our forward integration into Ferric Chloride manufacturing give added peace of mind to our customers. We also produce high-quality Iron Oxide powder of different grades at our SPL processing plants that are used as pigments and in the production of magnets. We currently market our Iron Oxide globally through our distribution network.
In addition to SPL management, PVS is experienced in the management and recycling of spent sulfuric acid recovered primarily from the alkylation process in oil refineries. This allows the reuse of the sulfuric acid that otherwise would have been disposed of, creating environmental impacts. Our sulfuric acid plants use proven technologies and resources that are safe and environmentally friendly. The acid regeneration services we provide are reliable, effective, and have proven to be the right solution for our customers.
